When MTV rebooted Total Request Live, it aimed to recapture the energy of its late-’90s heyday—this time with a digital twist. The new TRL featured a revamped Times Square studio with expanded floor-to-ceiling windows and a flexible, immersive layout designed for live performances and social media-ready moments. The show was hosted by a rotating cast of young personalities, including DC Young Fly and Tamara Dhia, and emphasized real-time interaction with fans both in-studio and online.
To help TRL to the streets of New York, we worked with partner agencies in a city-wide takeover; our role was printed and installed window wraps that transformed the city’s retail exterior into a visual countdown of pop culture energy.
